Benefits of Drinking Green Tea

Green tea has always been something that the whole world knows is good for people. If you have never tried it, though, the following may be able to encourage you to take an eventual sip. These are some of the things that you will benefit from – if you decide to make drinking the healthy concoction a part of your daily life.

Improved complexion. Green tea helps you look younger and better because it contains a high amount of catechins. It also helps clear up dark spots from acne, as well as provides relief for other skin issues. It's also packed with massive antioxidants, which are best in fighting free radiacals. Antioxidants help bring out that youthful, healthy glow, and aids in cell regeneration.

Enhanced cognitive skills. It also boosts your mental faculties. The product positively affects areas of the brain that are responsible for memory and critical thinking, among others. Sip a cup or two when you need to brainstorm and ditch the usual coffee for once.

Reduced weight. And, green tea helps in shedding off the unwanted pounds. Some people even swear by it for when they need to get beach-ready in a short amount of time. A recent study shows that the green tea extract helps increase thermogenesis, which is the way our body generates heat, caused by metabolization. This, then, results to increase energy expense and fat loss, especially in men.

The "healthier" caffeine. Generally, tea only contains a third of the caffeine we usually get from coffee. So this is the healthier alternative, really. If you like taking a few sips every now and then, you won't risk suffering from insomnia because of its low caffeine content. Personally, I think it still does the job!

  1. I'm now taking it several times a day. I found it very effective for just two weeks I saw a big difference already. I also backed up drinking lots of water too for what I know, too much tea can brittle ones bones. It should be taken up with water. Also, I don't drink cold water anymore. Tap water is a better alternative. I drink warm water instead to double up build up of frozen fats I should say,,hehehe
