Fresh Faced and Younger Looking

(photo from mitoq.com)

Who would never want to experience a fresh-looking face all day?

People tend to forget that their stressful and restless days affects the appearance of their skin.  Most of them use cosmetics to cover it up but they never realize the effect of these products to their skin. Women  can never rely from those gigantic containers of beauty products to satisfy their need to have fresh and young looking skin. In fact, most of these products may come too late. Habits keep you young, not products. And well, it’s cheaper too.

If you see yourself worn out because of work then maybe it’s time to relax and freshen up your skin. Here are some tips to achieve fresh looking skin:

Wash out the dirt from your skin before you sleep. It is important to wash out all the dust and dirt from your face to avoid breakouts and other imperfections. Wash your skin with a facial wash that’s suited for your skin type (dry, normal, combination, oily or acne-prone).  Rinse completely.

Exfoliate. Exfoliating isn’t just the way to remove unwanted dirt from your skin it also gives way for newer cells to surface. Always remember to choose products that won’t irritate your flawless skin. Use the soft kind of liquid facial scrubs to avoid damaging your skin. The ones with small beads.

Moisturize your skin. After washing out all those dirt and dead skin from your body, it’s time to keep it moisturized. Cover with moisturizer every inch of your skin and this will pay off eventually! Pay extra attention to your face and make sure you use a moisturizer with SPF in the morning and one with rejuvenating properties for night use. There are a lot of organic moisturizers available for those who have sensitive and dry skin.

Keep your skin protected from the sun. They sun is the worst enemy of our skin. One way to fight back is to use sunblock. It protects us from having skin cancer, wrinkles, pimples and dry skin. For daily use, a minimum of SPF 20 is enough. For prolonged sun exposure, like a day on the beach, use at least SPF 50 and re-apply after 3 hours.

Reward yourself with an anti-stress habit. We should never forget to treat ourselves from all the stress we face everyday. One way to reap your reward is to get a full body massage every once in a while. It’s helpful for your blood circulation and it can also help your body clock get better. For others it might be a short vacation or a day at the mall or a movie marathon. Whatever works for you, then.

Healthy diet and exercise. Now all of this things won’t be complete if we don’t observe proper diet and exercise. We should lessen the intake of greasy foods because this causes our face to become oily and sticky. Avoid eating junk. You know what they are. Also, try to squeeze in exercise in your day. Walk, use the stairs and do household chores.

If you apply all these tips then you are guaranteed to look younger and more fresh-faced! And don’t forget: it always pays to start young.
